Children's Ministry

But Jesus said, "Let the children alone,
and do not hinder them from coming to
me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs
to such as these."

Matthew 19:14

Desert Son Children’s Ministry is a place for ALL kids. We desire to encourage all children in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ by demonstrating Christ’s love to every child. We engage children in learning God’s purpose for their life. Desert Son’s Children’s Ministry is a place where children learn to love God, love others, and make disciples.  Our teachers desire to help each child nurture their own faith and learn to evangelize the world.

The smiles of children making new discoveries, the energy of children in a group setting, the sounds of children in song and in learning, and the insights of children as God is present in their lives, all make for a beautiful ministry.

Our teachers are full of love and compassion and enjoy ministering to children. Every teacher and volunteer has completed a thorough background check and are provided with training on a regular basis. We take ministering to kids seriously and recognize the gift and responsibility we have been given.

Child Registration

Why Registration Is Required:
To ensure a safe and secure environment for all children, we require registration for all Children's Ministry events and gatherings. This helps us maintain accurate attendance, provide appropriate classroom supervision, and quickly contact parents or guardians if needed.

Volunteer Application

Why We Ask You to Sign Up:
To create a safe, welcoming, and well-supported environment for our kids, we ask all volunteers to register. This allows us to provide proper training, schedule coverage for each classroom, and complete background checks to ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
